The veterans from all branches of the military service, have joined forces in the Twin County area to remember and honor our comrads who have served or are serving our country.
These men and women have given a part of themselves to the service of our country. Some gave a few years and returned home. Others gave their life and are buried both home and abroad. Still others are missing and we do not know their status. Did they die and remain lost on some battle field or were they captured and POWs who have never returned. Or, are they still held captive in some far away forgotten land?
We are most interested in hearing from fellow veterans from the Twin Counties of Virginia. The Counties of Carroll and Grayson and the City of Galax. We want to learn about who you are and your service. Family members of those who have passed on, may also add their family members to our database of veterans from the Twin County area.
